Mary Mary seems to have started a new trend in the Gospel Music industry. After the success of their reality series, “Mary Mary”, it looks like another Elite Gospel Singer has decided to give reality TV a try. One of the most famous male singers in the Gospel music industry, Marvin Sapp, has filmed a pilot for an upcoming reality show, tentatively titled “Marvin Sapp: Single Dad”.
We don’t know for sure if the show has been picked up by any networks, but it does look like it would be a good one. A description of the show reads, “Raising two teens and a tween while pastoring a church, maintaining a music career and fighting off “God told me you are my husband!” women – requires more prayer and skills than this recently widowed Dad thinks he possesses.”
I think showing a single father, who’s a widower, raise his children and maintain his faith, while balancing a music career would be a positive thing for television. But!!! The big question is will Imani Showalter from LA basketball wives make her guest star appearance? Her and Marvin Sapp was allegedly dating. Guess we will have to wait and see.
